We develop global, regional, and urban emission inventories in support of atmospheric modeling activities.
Primary aerosol emission trends for China, 1990-2005
June 22, 2010, A new historical inventory of anthropogenic primary aerosol emissions in China was estimated using a technology-based approach. With this methodology, we derive a 15-year trend of primary aerosol emissions in China from 1990 to 2005, taking into account the change in technology structure within sectors and improvements in emission controls driven by emission standards.

Global emission data in support of ARCTAS mission
Mar 1, 2008, ARCTAS pre-mission inventory released. This data is used for chemical forecasts for ARCTAS Campaign. This is a composite data set of global emissions, and emissions are as representative of current emissions as they can be. The chemical forecasts were performed by University of Iowa's STEM regional model and GEOS-CHEM model. For more information about ARCTAS project, see NASA's ARCTAS site.
